Maca root (Lepidium meyenii) is a cruciferous root farmed high in the Peruvian Andes, cultivated as food and a vitality staple for more than two thousand years. It grows in three color phenotypes, and the colors are not cosmetic: black maca is traditionally tied to stamina, red to balance, and yellow to daily energy.
